 | RAGE: Hmmm...we decided to do another "marker test", like we did with MarkerTest1.jpg :) We doodled up this dude (don't worry, friends, it's not a new character...) in pen (hey, it's a pen doodle that DOESN'T look like it's one of our pen doodles! Scary...) and we coloured him :) Unlike MarkerTest1.jpg, this one was actually coloured more carefully (doesn't look like it, but pretend) and we were actually trying to make it look good...It's a good pic and stuff, but the gray we coloured him with turned out really dark 0.o Not as dark as it was when we first coloured the thing, after it dried it turned out light, so that's good :) So...here's a guy, feel free to name him...He kinda looks like a mix of Leon and Trekker with Guido mixed in there a bit, or something... MACQUEL: *mutters and snarls in Guido's general direction * As long as he doesn't look like a mix of me and Guido, I'm happy. BROOKE: Eee! He's hot! KRISS: Brooke, you think EVERY guy you see is hot. Geez, knowing you you probably think Bill Gates is hot.. TREKKER: Bill Gates??? *snarling, growling, hissing and clawing * WHERE????? *clenches fist * He is trying to rule the world, I just know it...trying to get us NORMAL people to buy into his stupid programs... BROOKE: *pats Trekker on the head * Silly Trekkie! Bill Gates isn't here! But I am! *holds arms wide open * TREKKER: I'm afraid you are worse then Bill Gates. You might not be trying to take over the world, Brooke, but you wish to have every "hot" guy in the world handed to you on a silver platter... BROOKE: *squeels * EEE!  | MITCHELL: Hey, remember Project2.jpg? It's somewhere up there, but anyway, this here is another drawing for the diagnal assignment (that one that had to do with Pierre Auguste Renoir), this one, just for the heck of it, we called "The Pheonix", for..well obvious reasons :) This one is pretty wierd too.. I don't know if it has anything to do with the mood while drawing this or something, but we really like it :) The bird (which I guess is supposed to be a phoenix) appears to be reaching for that cloud formation...Mebbe it's reaching for a certain heaven? Or the afterlife? Or hey, even rebirth? That water-like formation might have something to do with this picture...I guess that's pretty pathetic when even the artist doesn't know what this picture is supposed to be about, hee...I guess it's up to you to look deeper in the picture, and decide on it's meaning... MACQUEL: Here's one fer ya: Mebbe there IS no meaning to the picture, and it was just drawing because it was the first thing that came to mind? MITCHELL: *blinkies..blinkies * Shh, I'm trying to make it sound interesting. Anyway, we really like this one...but we messed up a bit on the colour pattern that we wanted for the wings, so when we messed up on it, we just screwed it and did whatever :) The scanner REALLY chopped this one up tho...Specially the wave thing at the bottom (ugh, and we used that stupid glowing blue colour there for some reason...it's so ugly...) It made it glow...Hmm...Ah well, either way, we still think this picture is good :) We would scan the other drawing that we did for the project, but...err..we can't because it's already mounted and we can't fit it in the scanner...Ughness...Ah well...well anyhoo, it's another drawing for the diagnal project :) We like this one lots! :) Drawing c. to Jessica Ratté. |
 | DOMINIQUE: Well, lately we've been using catalogs and magazines of all sorts to help us with pose ideas and inspiration...so while flipping through a Sears catalog, we came across the outfit that Brooke here is wearing in this one :) We also got the pose idea from that catalog, too :) So, this here is a pic of Brooke that we drew with her in some articles of clothing similar to the ones that we saw in a catalog, and posed in a pose similar to one in a catalog, too :) We really like this one, it turned out good :) We like the colouring in this one, especially :) The way we shaded it actually makes it kinda...compliment the grooves and stuff of her body and whatnot, so that's good :) We like using catalog and magazine pictures, they help lots with drawing figures and stuff, which we have been practicing a lot with lately :) She's all sporty in this pic and stuff... She's probably hoping to play basket ball with the boys or something, hee hee :) Hmmm... I guess that's pretty much it for this one...It's a good pic of Brooke, we likes :) AJAX: *scratches head * I dunno...we should have put a background on the pic...kinda like the one that was in the pic in the catalog...but..we're too lazy to do that...*shrugs * BROOKE: Eee! I think I look like Ragie in this one! *one second squeel * Ragie would wear clothes like that! ...errr..mebbe not the shirt that short, but whatever... RAGE: ...and I highly doubt I would wear those shoes either, Brooke...But I like your pants in this one.. BROOKE: EE! He complimented me!!  | MACQUEL: Woah, ho ho!!! It's the highlight of our update, you guys!!!!!! XD! Alrighty, so we decided to pay a visit to Bonnies Oekaki Board...we had visited one previously, but sadly it wasn't working for us for some reason...But anyway, so we decided, just for fun , to atleast TRY and draw something on the board...We really bite at drawing on the compu, people...So we tried...and tried...but the stupid line tool was NOT working for us at all..so we just gave up..and then we started to doodle something using the freehand tool!! DUDE!! Look!!! We managed to draw a pic of Ajax, all using the freehand tool ('cept for the eyes, which were done annoyingly with the oval tool)! Okay, I know this isn't even THAT good, but we are REALLY proud of it because it actually looks like something and it was drawn on the computer, which is one of our weak parts..We were attempting to colour it all in...but when we tried it wasn't working for us... This picture kinda looks like it was done by a dog compared to the kickass oekaki drawings that we've seen on Side 7, but..well we don't have a tablet ^_^...but either way, for a freehand drawing of Ajax with the mouse, this is pretty good...We surprisingly like! If we didn't like it, we probably wouldn't be posting it...even tho it's really not worth posting...but look what I can do, mommy! *snickers* ;) AJAX: And yet, no matter what we're drawing with, I'm STILL making that dumb face... VIVIAN: You're face is stupid always anyway, Ajax. AJAX: Yours is ugly always, so don't talk. I think I'd rather be stupid then ugly. VIVIAN: *THHHHHHHHHPPPPPPP!!! * RAGE: I find it wierd how the only straight line in the whole stupid picture is the one on his ear...(why is that when you're drawing the computer, using the freehand tool, you can never draw a line straight, or in our case, because we can't draw straight lines even if our lives depended on it, somewhat straight, like you can with your pencil? I have yet to understand this concept....) MACQUEL: I'm thinking it's because we drew this one in like five minutes so the lines were goin' be sloppy regardless. Ummm..for some pointless side notes, we like drawing on the oekaki board, even if we can't draw something really good, it's just fun and challenging I suppose and his chin/face part was kinda really hard to draw, had to constantly erase that 0.o Anyway, so it's a drawing of Ajax done on an oekaki board, which isn't even that great, but we're still darned proud of it (but we'll stick to our pencils, thankyou ^_~) :) Ajax c. to Jessica Ratté. |
 | LEON: *jumps back * OH MY GOD! BROOKE:... It's Leon!!!! *squeeling * *hearts * LEON: This picture REALLY scares me...it's a GOOD PICTURE of me!!! Look! My eyes!! I'm not pocessed!!! And look!!!...it's..it's...it's just a good picture of me!!! BUT ARGH!!! We drew my stupid hair wrong!! Ah well...It's still me and it's still good... KRISS: Yay! More marker fun! Hee hee :) Anyway, we had drawn this surprisingly good picture of Leon, and we didn't really know what to do with it...so we just inked it, and because we had Leon's colours, we decided we would colour him in markers, even tho the colours we had in markers were a bit darker then Leo's actual colours... So here he is! My god..it's scary...This picture of him turned out too good.. It can't possibly be a picture of Leon...The only thing we could really complain about this picture is that the table thing that he's leaning on (ugh..inanimate object!! Good thing we didn't draw it all...) is really coloured crappily...we didn't take our time with that for some reason...I dunno what he's doing here either, looks like he's calling for a waiter or something...The colouring on this one isn't all that great, but it's still a good pic and we like it! :D And dude...we have #380 in markers! Groovy...We kinda wish that we had a lighter gray marker (we had one, but it's dead...), because if we did, then we would have coloured Leo that colour, but we had to settle for the gray we had...and his hair should be a tad lighter, but...the colour we used is good enough :) Hmmm...not really much else to say about this picture, but we didn't get Leon's hair right... (at the time we drew this, we thought we did, but then we suprised ourselves when taking out a pic of Leon and discovering that we didn't get it right...it's one of those anime teardrop situations...) LEON: I kinda look like I'm holding something invisible too...kinda like that one picture somewhere up there... (that GenSvenson.jpg one...) I'm happy we can draw me now.. I don't feel like an outcast...  | KRISS: Tee hee! It's Ryan again! :) We were flipping through a magazine, and well..we just stumbled apon a picture of some kid walking, so we decided to draw Ryan walking :) It's nothing terribly exciting...but the clothes ideas are also from a catalog, but the colours aren't the same colours...In fact, I can't even remember if the clothes we drew Ryan in here in this picture are even similar to any we saw in a catalog, can't remember 0.o But we still like this one, it's cute :) This kid is pretty pumped up...geez...Ah well, we really love him :) He's a cutie... CALICO: How come we never draw Noah anymore?? Noah is way hotter then Ryan!!! Why don't we draw Noah???? KRISS: Oh, please Calico. Noah's an old thing. CALICO: NOAH IS NOT "AN OLD THING"!! I DEMAND MORE NOAH, ON BEHALF OF THE NOAH PAUL FAN CLUB!! VIVIAN: But Calico, Ryan's hot too! ....*blinkies * But not as special as Noah! CALICO: That's right! Which is why I'm going on strike until there are more then 20 Noah's drawn per update! *holds up a picket sign* Hmmmph. VIVIAN: I don't know, Cali! Besides, I think an update with twenty of the same person would be quite boring after a while. CALICO: Are you calling Noah boring???? TREKKER: I didn't say that, exactly...  | CODY: Remember Ashril from a couple of pics back? Well, we had so much fun drawing her the first time that we drew her again! Since we had all of her colours in markers, we thought that we would try colouring the whole thing with markers! We really like how this turned out! I think we can almost say that we CAN colour in markers now! We're proud very much so! So for basic picture info, here is Ashril just holding a bag of some sort, mebbe she's going to a gym, or going shopping or something, we dunno, we just like it :) We would have drawn her hair in pigtails like it normally is, but we drew the picture too far up the paper and we couldn't fit her pig tails in there, so we just drew it in a ponytail :) The scanner kinda killed some of the darker shading colours that we used (mostly the darker pink on her body and head and all that), but that's alright, I suppose :) We still like this, either way :) RAGE: Hmmm..for the background we used a purple smelly marker for some of the hearts, but it was really fat and kinda old, so..it was kinda hard to colour with 0.o So we just resorted afterwards to a different purple marker... MACQUEL: *snickers * Heh, remember that time when Ajax was a little kid, Rage, and he stuffed smelly markers up his nose and he was buzzed all day? AJAX: Shut up. I was young and stupid then.... VIVIAN: Not like times changed, or anything...*rolls eyes * TETIPHAR: *holding a box of scented markers * Wow! Just think! If you colour yourself with these things, you can smell nice all day! This stuff can double as cologne!!! *starts colouring his arm... * MITCHELL: Sorry Tet, but I don't think it works that way... *slaps head * ¬_¬..  | MITCHELL: We actually drew you, Vivian. *flicks at her head * VIVIAN: Don't touch me, Mitchell!! Gross! *aims to kick his leg, but Mitchell moves in time before she could, resulting in Vivian kicking Mac's leg, instead. A bonus, I suppose.. * MACQUEL: OW!! WHAT DID I DO??? VIVIAN: I meant to hit Mitchell, but I guess I missed. MELANIE: OO! Can I pretend to hit Mitch too and instead hit Macquel instead??? MACQUEL: *talks to the audience * Girls... I can't keep them off me!! *winks * BEN: Hmmm..well onto the picture, it's a drawing of Vivian that we drew :) We don't really draw her all that much, so we decided to draw her :) So here she is, just sitting or something :) We really like how this one turned out, especially the colours and stuff...The colours in the background go nicely with the clothes that she's wearing :) The only complaint we have about this picture is that if you look closely you can see like this one weird white stripe across her shoulder sorta... TREKKER: ... A poltergeist!!!! BEN: No, it's not a poltergiest, strange lightbeam, or anything that you would think it is, Trekker...For some reason when we were colouring this one, that's what happened...Mebbe we hit a groove of something under the picture when we were colouring it, I dunno...but who cares..we still like the drawing... AJAX: Uhhhh... I think she's missing half of her leg, or something...*scratches head * BEN: It's under her other leg, Ajax... AJAX: ...but why would it be under her other leg when it should be attached to the leg it should be attached to? BEN: *blinks...blinks...Ajax made no sense to him... * *chooses the most liable answer.. * I dunno. RAGE: It's bent underneath her other leg, Ajax... We had all of Ajax's colours, even tho the light brown of his fur is a bit too dark, but we don't really care...But why he's holding an egg I will never know. BROOKE: I KNOW WHY!!! I KNOW!!! *raises hand, hearts flying everywhere, hoping Guido will pick her to answer the question * MELANIE: *tries to tower over Brookes hand, raising hers * I DO!! I DO!! DOMINIQUE: Hmph. *is too short to try and tower over Brooke or Melanie * GUIDO: Ummm... *has no idea why they are raising thier hands...* Anything else we can add? MELANIE: IIIIIIIII can add something, Guido!! *Brooke pushes infront of her, claiming she could add something, while Dominique stomps on both of thier toes so that she can say something about the picture.  | MITCHELL: As a little kid, everybody remembers having thier first best friend...and it could have been anything, a fish, a stuffed toy, even an imaginary friend. I remember my first best friend..I was outside playing that one day, pretending I was a great explorer, when I came apon a shiney, almost silvery transparent "cloth" laying on the grass, attached to the rock. And on that rock was an interesting, eight-legged "person" (I was a kid...lemme alone ^_~), who was weaving this cloth..When it was finished, I lightly poked it, and it quivered a bit. Then, I took it off of the cloth, and put it on the ground, where it's face was staring at mine, it had many eyes, and it walked closer to me, and then attached itself to my face, that part kinda tickled :) I then poked it again, and it didn't move much. I decided to take it off, and put it in the palms of my hands, where I smiled and then said "Hi, good traveller! My name is Mitch, what's yours?" . After I had finished exploring, still with the "person" in my hand, I went back inside to show mom and dad what I had found...But when mom told me to go put that ugly thing back outside, I said "No, he's my friend!" and ran to my room, and threw my new friend into a container...And that my friends, started my obsession with arachnids! :D Of course, I didn't know at my young age that this spider that I had was a female and was carrying eggs..I sure suprised mom when I showed her I had more friends... LEON: *just stands there, quivering with grossness * EW!! My first best friend was my hand sock, not a BUG!! MACQUEL: Really? I had "Pip", the Pepperoni... *they all look at him funny. * MACQUEL: Don't ask. When you're bored as a child, you can imagine ANYTHING can talk to you... PUDGY: Hey, don't worry! You're not the only one who had a food item for a best friend as a kid! *gleams * MACQUEL: *anime teardrop * Yes, but atleast I wasn't the one who ate my imaginary friend... PUDGY: It fell into my mouth while I was sleeping, okay?? Things sometimes happen like that! I can't defy gravity...  | KRISS: Gwah! Cuteness, lol :) Ever have to write a short story for english class, or whatever? Well, the first step to creating a story is figuring out what it can be about...And what better way to figure out a plot then to get inspiration from your very own friends! So there I was, thinking about what I could write about, when it hit me!! Why don't I write a story about a REAL "cool" guy, and the two girls who are ALLLLLLLWAYYYSS chasing after him??? Hee hee hee! I'm so evil...So there we have a little corny drawing of Mac there, walking down the street (singing doo wap diddee diddee dum diddee do...), and then Melanie over there who is quivering with happyness, and Vivian is just SOOO excited!! I dunno if the corny little drawings in the bubble are supposed to be my drawings or something, or just for added stupidity (most likely, anyway), but we sure do love this picture :) We like the little Vivian there...she looks funny...At first Melanie didn't have a neck so...we kinda had to give her one :) Mac just looks plain cute, with those little ball feet of his...Oy, what a twit :) MELANIE: *the evil eye * You *BETTER* not be writing this story, Kriss, or else I'll NEVER speak to you AGAIN. KRISS: Oh...umm...of course not! *hides the story behind her back * MACQUEL: *spotlight * Well, guys! I suppose this picture proves that I'm an interesting and dynamic person! Kriss chose to write a story about ME! VIVIAN: *snarling at Kriss * I write a story about Noah and me, and then you write...write...THIS story???? UGH!!! How could you Kriss!!! KRISS: but I got a good mark on it!!!! And besides, in the story I didn't actually give you the same names! Mac is "Mike", Vivian is "Valerie" and Melanie is "Melissa"!!!!! MELANIE: *taps foot * I thought you didn't WRITE the story... KRISS: *blinks.. * Well I'm just saying that if I HAD written it, which I swear I didn't, that's what I would call you guys... MELANIE: But you said you had gotten a good mark on it... KRISS: *cough * MACQUEL: Well, of course she got a good mark on it! Duh, it's about me. CALICO: Vivian, you copied my idea!! I wrote a story about Noah and me too!!! *the two of them continue to fight * VIVIAN: Yeah, well I got a better mark which means that Noah is better off with me!! HAND HIM OVER!!!!  | LEON: Umm...this picture was kinda just sitting there...We had intended on adding more people or another person to the picture, but I guess we lost interest in it, or something...But seeing that we had fun colouring stuff in marker, we decided that since we had most of Melanies colours and the last pic of her that we coloured with marker looked really bad, we decided that we would ink whatever we had of the pic, and colour it with marker :) So...here is a pic of Melanie, coloured in marker :) We like this one lots, but again the colours turned out a bit too dark, like the colour of her fur and her hair, but that's alright, we still like this one :) The scanner didn't scan the darker colour that we shaded the pink of her jacket thing with well...You can see it faintly, but not really...Not like it really matters, but I just thought I would make that point :) MACQUEL: And I'm going to make MY point! *does The Point at Melanie * MELANIE: *turns the other way, so that her back is facing him and rubs the sides of her head with her fingers stressfully* Great. Now your stupid point even gives me a headache, or maybe it's just you in general, Macquel. *grits teeth then throws a toilet paper tube at him * TREKKER: Ummm....nothing much else that we could really think of at the moment, we like the background designs for some reason...  | VIVIAN: Look Calico!! I prayed that Noah would be in the next picture, and LOOK!! It came true! CALICO: Our prayers have been answered! DOMINIQUE: Hee hee! Cuteness picture! Okay, have you guys ever seen those Walmart commercials with that smiley face guy, and he like...drops down the prices all the time? Well, you see, Steph works at Walmart, and it gave us this idea for a piccie! We're guessing that because she works at Walmart, Ratfink probably does, too :) If she doesn't...well lets just pretend she does :) Well, it's suppertime in the Lightshadow household, but gosh! When Noah goes down to sit for supper, he is frightened to see a big, giant smiley face sitting right next to him (or floating, you decide)! But fear not Noah! It's just a friend of Ratfinks! LOL :) We're easily amused, yes... We like this one :) I think the chairs actually resemble what they are supposed to be :) But...umm...the only fault in this one is how on Ratfinks side, the table kinda...sinks...UGH!! Big evil inking mistake...*slaps forehead * Ah well...mistakes on Noah's face too... VIVIAN: What are you talking about! Noah is perfect! DOMINIQUE: In the picture, moron. We kinda makeshifted his stripes on his nose...The background was coloured in chalk pastel, yesserie :) AJAX: Y'know, out of all the times I've been to Walmart, I've never ONCE seen that smiley face. I'm quite depressed. TREKKER: It's not real, Ajax...get over it. MACQUEL: *snickers * The only "smiley face" in Walmart is the one you have on your face when you and Ratfink go to the very back of Walmart and... TREKKER: *flashes him a REAL evil look * RICKY: SHHH! Mac!  | RAGE: I just love how the flowers kinda float ontop of the water they are sitting in...quite interesting..Why is that, anyway? Whenever you draw roses in a vase or something, they usually end up not actually sitting in the vase where they should be, but kinda more like..floating in the water, you know what I mean? ...Probably not, but anyway...this here was yet another art project that our creator had to do...Okay, so here was the assignment: You had to draw four compositions, using the style that Rafeal Sanzio used in the picture that was given as an example, by using four ovalar shapes, and two "swooshes", or curves. We HATED this assignment..this was hard to do, beleive it or not! Because everything you WANTED to draw would never turn out...But anyway, we decided to use roses in a vase for one of our compositions, because that was probably one of the more easier things we could do..So here they are...obviously the flowers are supposed to represent the ovalar shapes, and um...well you can't really tell where the swooshes are (which is a good thing, because they aren't supposed to be visable), but there's one near the top of the vase, and one at the bottom of the vase :) We actually really like this one tho...We inked it all neat and stuff, rather then colouring it with pencils like we had done with every other assignment 0.o DEXTER: Errrmm...we like the rose in the front, but the tall one at the very back, behind the one in the front, looks really stupid for some reason....we added too much petals or something to it..Ah well...we still like this picture...See the flowers kinda look almost alive..but the vase looks..really..dead...Probably because there really isn't much shading to the vase... MACQUEL: Wow. Magical floating flowers in a magical floating vase...It's not even sitting on anything...Actually we decided not to try and attempt to draw a table...It would ruin the picture and we like the way it is anyway...We tried colouring it on the computer just for fun, but lets not get into that...Ummm..guess that's it fer this one :) It's part one of four of our Sanzio assignment :) We likes :D Flowers in the Vase c. to Jessica Ratté. |
